Kabul, Afghanistan has been the capital of Afghanistan since the year 1776 and has also established itself as one of the most popular tourist destinations. It is said that the emperor was initially buried in Agra, and later moved to this spot.
The Bagh-e Zanana or the Women Park is dedicated for women only and is a nice place to enjoy the outdoors. Visit this lovely place and enjoy the lovely sights. Bagh-e Bala is a yet another famous park in the city. Enjoy visiting the Kabul Zoo with your family. The zoo houses over 100 animals. It is a must visit spot of sightseeing in the country.
If you wish to know more about the past history of the city then visit the Afghan National Museum that is situated several miles from the city center across from Darulaman Palace. The museum houses modest collections of Central Asian artifacts in the world. Those who are interested in golf can enjoy playing the game in the Kabul Golf Club situated in the Qargha Road.
