Blida, Algeria is an important commercial and tourist town located in the northern part of Algeria. Blida lies on the southern edge of the Mitidja Plain at the foothills of the Mitidja Atlas Mountain. In the 16th century, Blida, Algeria was founded by the emigrants from Andalusia. Blida is also referred to as El-Boulada.
