The Sydney Maritime Museum is another architectural marvel that ahs become an icon in the country. The building was designed by Philip Cox Richardson. The specialty of the building is its earthbound displays, underwater walkways and a sequence of ship-like structures with fabric roofs.

The Sydney State Bank Center was designed by Peddle, Thorp and Walker and reflects the post modernism of the mid-eighties. The building is considered as one of the grand and opulent office buildings in Sydney. Some of the architectural highlights of the building are a 36-level glass-curtained tower and a two-storey atrium overlooking a marbled banking lobby

The Sydney Olympic Stadium is another architectural marvel of the country that was the venue of the 2000 Olympics. It boasts of an imaginative design and can facilitate upto 110,000 spectators. It was be the venue for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies and athletics. The stadium was designed as a continuous seating bowl surrounding an oval-shaped athletics track and field. The eastern and western stands of the stadium boast of three tiers and the northern and southern stands feature a lower and upper tier structure.
