Graz Cathedral has been reconstructed several times and the structural work of the court was started in the year 1438. This is a community church in late Gothic manner. This beautiful church is a Jesuit church. Later, the Graz Cathedral was renovated in Baroque style in the seventeenth or eighteenth centuries. From the year 1786 onwards, Graz Cathedral became the abode of bishop. The main church of Graz Cathedral was basically the church of the Catholics in Styria. Later, this church became the cathedral.

The interior decoration of Graz Cathedral is really remarkable and impressive. The wide area is separated from the main choir by a thin and gorgeous arch. This arch is laid by two excellent containers dating back to 1477. There is also the high communion table of colored marble. It dates back to the time between 1730 and 1733. The altarpiece displays the "Miracle of St Giles". In the aisles, you can see some beautiful monuments and altars including some attractive statues and hand paintings.
