The Khudaferin Bridges,Nakhichevan City is between villages of Khudaferin and Kumlakh. These bridges connect the the southern and the northern banks of the Araks river. The bridges are outstanding monuments of architecture. They are the samples of hi-tech construction. Many historians believe that these bridges built in between the 12th and the 13th centuries.

The first of the bridges was built around 12th century, during the epoch of Eldegizids and it incorporated 15 spans. This particular bridge was made out of square burnt bricks and river stones. The foundation of the bridge has got spurs of granite rocks as well and so they are preserved till date. The length of the bridge is about 200 meters and its width is around 4.5 meters. At highest point of this bridge is around 10 meters above the water level.

The second bridge was constructed during the epoch of the Ilkhanids in the 13th century and it has got 11 spans. The total length of this bridge is 30 meters and the width is 6 meters. The maximum height of this bridge is about 12 meters above the sea level. The outline of lateral arches has got semicircular shapes. It has got dressed block of limestone. Exactly 800 meters west of the 15 span bridges, there is the small bridge. Practically the smaller Khudaferin Bridge has been destroyed and only the middle portion of it survives. It has been named as ''synyg kyorpju'' by the people which mean the broken bridge. But even in its broken condition it leaves a very grand impression upon everyone. Traditional ways of architecture of the middle ages has been followed during the construction of the bridges. Apart from the steady design of the bridges, these are also famous for their aesthetic and artistic expressiveness.
