Maladzyechna, Belarus is a city located in the Minsk Voblast of Belarus. Maladzyechna, Belarus is the center of administration in the district of Maladzyechna. The city is situated about 72 kilometers northwest of Minsk. It is located on the river Usha. Maladzyechna, Belarus has survived as a settlement since 1388.At that time Maladzyechna belonged to the Grand Duchy of Lithunia. The Maladzyechna Air Base was also located in this city during the Cold War.

It can also be true that the city existed on the bank of the river Usha. The city of Maladzyechna, Belarus has a very interesting history. It has changed hands for a number of times. In the year 1501, the region was donated to someone named Michael of Mstislav by King Sigismund I of Poland on the condition that Michael will provide a passage through the river for the nobles and the hunters who used to move often in the area.

Michael died without an heir and so after a series of transfer from one hand to another, Maladzyechna, Belarus was at last acquired by Prince Nastasi Zbaraski. A battle took place in the proximity of the castle and the Muscovy forces were defeated by the Polish Lthunian Commonwealth army.

After this, the town was purchased by Lew Sapieha, chancellor of Lithunia. He eventually sold the village to Siemiott, who divided it among his sons. Long after this, a clash took place between the descendants of the Siemiott and the Gosiewski and the village remained to be the property of the Gosiewskis.

Anyway Maladzyechna, Belarus served as a center of trade and commerce from that time onwards. In 1708 the castle was one of the headquarters of the Swedish army under King Charles XII of Sweden. This led to a great destruction in the city during the war between Sweden and Russia. Maladzyechna, Belarus also saw various changes in the pages of history, the partition of Poland and the acquisition of the area by imperial Russia. Napoleon gave his last orders in this city.

The town started recovering at the later part of the 19th century. The Orthodox Church of Intercession of Our Most Holy Lady was built at the town square. It also got connected to the world by the Minsk-Vilna railway. Afterwards another line linking St. Petersburg and Polotsk with Lida and Siedice. Gradually the city became the major railway junction.

In course of time various changes took place and finally Maladzyechna, Belarus emerged to be a part of the Republic of Belarus.There are several tourist attractions in Maladzyechna.
