Geography of Belgium


The Geography of Belgium is largely varied and diverse. This country is surrounded by the Netherlands in the northern side, Germany to the eastern side, France to the southwest and Luxembourg in the southern side. You can also locate North Sea at the northwestern side of the country. This Western European country comprises about 89% land and the water area covers about 11%. The Weather in Belgium is favorable and comfortable too. The climate of Belgium is largely temperate. It experiences mild winters, cool summers, humid and rainy seasons. During summers, the weather remains damp and the temperature remains between 27°C.
