Altun Ha: This is one of the most important archeological sites of Belize. This palace lies near the Rock stone Pond. The ruins of this site consist of two main plazas that have 13 temples and a residential building. The temples are still nicely preserved. In earlier times, this place used to be a major Mayan trade hub and served as a ceremonial center during the late Classical Period. The site also houses the green tomb which is of immense historical importance. The site is open to the public on all days and the visiting hours is from 9 am to 5 pm

Crooked Tree Wildlife Sanctuary: It is one of the major attractions among the Tourist Attractions in Corozal. This place is famous for its gardens, parks and squares. The park and the squares are famous for the collection of different migratory birds which arrive from different parts of the country. The garden houses different varieties of flora.

Santa Ritas Mayan Ruins: This is another important archeological site. The site is located to the north of Corozal Town. The site houses various collections which are the perfect example of the Mayan culture. It is a must-see for those tourists who are interested in the pre Columbian architectural art. This site has a number of caves as well, which have some unique paintings on their walls.

Cerros ruins: This is another important historical site which lies to the south of the Corozal town. The site houses a beautiful temple having a height of 20 metres. The temple has beautiful carvings on its walls.
