San Pedro Day: June 27, this is celebrated in a three days carnival form, in the honour of San Pedro. It is a one of the most colourful festivals in Beliz.
The anniversary of the treaty between Britain and Mexico, recognizing Ambergris Caye as a part of Beliz is also celebrated on July 23 with a festive grandeur.
International Costa maya Festival: This is a festival packed up with dance, music, pageants,food and drink celebrating the reunion of the Mayan empire in San Pedro.
Deer Dance Festival: It is part of the Costa Maya Festival and is a mixture of the Christianity and Mayan culture.
St, George Caye Day: September 10 On this day a parade takes place throughout the country and a whole day fair takes place at Central Park. The day is celebrated to remember the the battle of St. George Caye when the slaves, the Baymen and the British soldiers fought with the Spaniards and won Caye.
Belize Independence Day: September 21, this is the celebration of the Independence Day of Belize
Belikin Spectacular: It is a tournament of Bilfish with great prizes. It takes place in the month of October.
Pan American Day or the Columbus Day: October 13, it is celebrated to cherish the Mestizo Culture.
Garifuna Settlement Day: November 19, this festival is to celebrate and commemorate the arrival of the Garifuna tribes or the Black Caribs.
Apart from this Good Friday, Holy Saturday, Easter Sunday and Monday are also celebrated. Chrismas in Belize is also a very joyous festival.
