Palacio Antonio Lemos, Belem was built in the 19th century as the seat of municipal authority. All the way through its 117 years of survival, Palacio Antonio Lemos, Belem hosted the court of relationship, the Mercantile, the City Council and the Chamber of Deputies. Designer Jose Coelho has designed the structure and has given a classical touch behind. Palacio Antonio Lemos, Belem is situated in the neighborhood of the Old City which is the capital off Historical Center between the squares Felipe Patroni and D. Pedro II.
