A long row of tiles form the other half of the façade and most of the tiles present the life of San Francisco. All these tiles are put in such a way so that portions of the San Francisco's life are presented in a strategic manner. The whole of this has been created by Portinari. The whole of St. Francis of Assis, Belo Horizonte feature marks of the masters like Burle Marx and he has designed the garden. The low-reliefs that are found in the baptistery section are sculpted by the famous sculptor Alfredo Ceschiatti. Although St. Francis of Assis, Belo Horizonte was closed down for six years now the church was visited by thousands of travelers.
