The Bayon

The temple has a three tier pyramid shape structure surrounded by 54 towers with gigantic faces representing Lokiteshyara at the top. Unlike his predecessors Jayavarman VII propounded Mahayana Buddhism.

The Baphuan

This temple was built by Udaydityavarman II and was dedicated lord Shiva. This particular temple has undergone a lot of renovation work and has been one of the favorite sightseeing places among the swarming travelers.

Banteay Kdei

This temple was constructed during the 12th and 13th centuries by Jayavarman VII. It has a wide network of galleries and vestibules. The temple was built of sandstone. From the ancient ruins the historians could infer the splendor and magnificence that it once boasted.

Sras Srang

This is another prominent tourist attraction in Siem Reap which attracts a lot of travelers who com to Cambodia to spend their vacation. It is a pool situated just opposite the east gate of Banteay Kdei. This pool is also known as the king’s bath.
