  • Afhemi Museum - It was officially inaugurated by the Ministry of Culture on October 20, 1999. These objects are made of copper, silver, brass, fired clay, wood and bronze. A collection of healing art works, ritual and ceremonial masks, royal beds and utensils, statues and power mediums and vectors of good omens and repellents of dangerous charms. This Tourist Attraction of Yaounde also has a collection of hand-woven fabric, batik, hand-embroidered cloth, mud cloth, tie-dyed fabric, bamboo and raffia works, traditional and beaded objects.

  • National Museum of Yaounde - belonging to the Department of Cultural Conservation of the Cultural Affairs Head Office since 1972 it is one of the popular museums. The museum is in the former ministerial residence. This is one of the most important Yaounde Museums. The first collections of the museum were constituted in 1973. The residences' former sitting room has been converted to the permanent exhibition hall. The museums glass cabinets were bought with the personal and financial help of M. M. Joseph-Marie Essomba, a Senior lecturer in History and Archeology, Bernard-Patrick AYUK, of the Chief Department of the Conservation and Mrs. Joudiou a graduate of the Paris Art and Archeology Institute.
