San Rafael Lagoon National Park in Chile is home to Mount San Valentin, the tallest peak in Southern Andes. It soars to a height of 4, 058 meters above sea level. About nineteen glaciers have their sources in the Northern Ice Fields. The icefield stretches over the Mount San Valentin and the surrounding hills. Huge blocks of ice breaking off from the glaciers and crashing with a thunder into a lake form one of the stunning sights here. The park is home to a huge population of land and aquatic birds like black-browned albatross, black necked swan and huala duck. Other denizens of the San Rafael Lagoon National Park, Chile include chungungos, fur seals, dolphins and elephant seals.
