Vina del Mar, Chile is a coastal city in the Valparaiso Province in the Valparaiso region of Chile. Vina del Mar, Chile is also called as La Ciudad Jardin which means ’the garden city’ in Spanish. It is the fourth largest city of Chile.
Vina del Mar is a well known tourist destination which includes a number of beautiful beaches. The most important event in Vina del Mar is the Festival de la Cancion de Vina del Mar which is a yearly music festival.
The festival attracts quite a lot of attention from all over the world and a number of international artists come to perform in this festival. Vina del Mar also has a famous gambling casino that is very popular among its tourists.

Palacio Rioja: It is a spectacular mansion that was built by Fernando Rioja in 1907. Today, the mansion includes an environmental museum. The palace is located on the Quillota Street.
Fonck Museum: It is located in Cuatro Norte Street. The museum has a large collection of ancient Columbian articles, and a large statue made of volcanic rock which is the only Easter Island statue in mainland Chile.
Palacio Carrasco: It was built by Emilio Carrasco in 1912. The Palace now has a Municipal Library and is also used for the purpose of arts exhibitions.
Palacio Vergara: It is situated in Quinta Vergara and was built by Blanca Vergara in 1906. The beautiful mansion is owned and maintained by the municipality. It is currently home to the School of Fine Arts.
Vina del Mar, Chile is fast developing as a very famous tourist destination. Its historical monuments and palaces have made it one of the most sought out cities in South America.
