Guangzhou is the capital of Guangdong Province in Southern China and has a population of over 10 million. It is next to Hong Kong and Macau. As there are many tourist attractions in Guangzhou, the people visiting the place get to see churches, parks and lots of other things. Guangzhou Tourist Attractions include Guangxiao Temple. Hui Neng trained at this temple in the 7th Century as the sixth patriarch of Zen Buddhism. It is a popular pilgrimage site for Zen Buddhists.

There is also Liurong Temple included in the Guangzhou Tourist Attractions. The Temple of Six Banyan Trees, which includes the 17 stories, eight-sided flowering Pagoda, is one of the most popular attractions in Guangzhou. The temple dates back to the 6th century whereas the pagoda predates it by about 300 years.

Among the Guangzhou Tourist Attractions there is the Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall. It is situated on Dongfeng Zhong Lu and is dedicated to the founder of the Republic of China and local hero Dr. Sun Yat-Sen. It was constructed in 1931 and built on the original site of Sun Yat sen's presidential office.

Again there is the Guangzhou Uprising Museum. The Museum is at the site of the first Communist government building. Then there is the Chen Clan. This temple has a very well maintained architecture from the 19th century. It used to belong to a wealthy family by the name of Chen and now features many articles including ivory sculptures and artistic statues.

Again there is the Guangzhou Martyrs' Memorial Garden. The park was dedicated to those who fought and died in the Communist Uprising in 1927. There is the Grand World Scenic Park which is also worth paying a visit to and making the Guangzhou Tours a wonderful experience.
