Seven Star Park


Situated on the west bank of the Lijiang River, the city of Guilin is a popular tourists' destination in China. There are abundant Tourist Attractions in Guilin and Seven Star Park, Guilin is one of the famous of them. Seven Star Park, Guilin is situated at the east bank of Li River.

Covering an area of more than 120 hectares, Seven Star Park in Guilin is the largest comprehensive park with scenic landscape in the city.

It is believed that the park derived its name from the fact that the four peaks on Putuo Hill and the three peaks on Crescent Hill that build the main part of the park replicate the design of the seven stars in the Ursa Major constellation. Putuo Mountain, the place where Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva is venerated, is the chief attraction of the park.

Seven Star Park, Guilin is bestowed with gorgeous mountains, crystal clear water, excellent stone forest, quiet valleys, variety of animals and plants and treasured cultural relics.

Seven Star Park, Guilin features some of the well- known tourist spots like Seven Star Peak, Longyin Cave, Crescent Stone, Zenggong Stone, Camel Hill, Longyin Stone, Flower Bridge, Crescent Tower, Light of China Square, Children's Amusement Park, Zoo, 3 Generals and 800 Warriors' Tomb, Mosque, Potted Scenery and Gui Hai Bei Lin.

Flower Bridge, built in the Song Dynasty, is the oldest bridge in Guilin. Putuo Mountain thrives with a number of caves and pavilions. Some of them include Xuanfeng Cave, Putuo Jingshe, Seven Stars Cave, Qixia Cave.

On the top of the hill, there are the Tomb of the Three Generals and the Tombs of 800 Heroes, Putuo Stone Forest, Xuanwu Pavilion and Zhaixing Pavilion.

Lying behind the Putuo Mountain, Camel Hill, looks like a life-like squat camel. Crescent Mountain is located to the south of Putuo Mountain. Light of China Square is situated between Putuo Mountain and Crescent Mountain.
