The two important buildings are the black Dragon Palace and the Longquan Temple also known as the Dragon Spring Temple. The temple was previously built by the side of the pool during the rule of the Hans. The temple had undergone several reconstructions in the later periods. This structure is the largest structure in the park. Many memorial ceremonies were held at one time on the bank of the pool, just where the temple is located. There are two courtyards and three halls.
There are huge ancient trees in front of the two temples. The tress present includes a camellia tree, cypress tree and a plum tree. The plum tree found here was planted around 1,200 years ago during the time of the Tang Dynasty. At present the branches of this tree has spread in all directions and the roots have become very crisscrossed and twisting. The cypress tree was planted during the reign of the Song rulers and the other tree was planted during the Ming Dynasty. The cypress tree has got a huge trunk and it takes around four to five people to encircle the tree. These three tress have added extra charm to the entire place.
