Blue Wave Pavillion, Suzhou is a perfect combination between man made buildings and nature's beauty. At the entrance of the garden there is a green water pool surrounded by weeping willows. These structures have been made out of rocks. On the east of this pavilion, the structure resembles a natural hill. The yellow rocks here have been mixed with earth. On the western side, rocks from the lakes have been utilized to create another hill. To make these rocks look like real hills, trees and viridian bamboos have been used for decoration.
Corridors link the hills and pools. You can take a stroll around these. On the walls of the corridors there are 108 lattice windows. The Fishing Terrace is located at the eastern end of the corridor. Sit here and witness the different varieties of fish available here. Mingdao Hall, Fragrance House, Five-Hundred Famous Ancient Sages Hall and Mountain-Watching Building are the other attractions situated within Blue Wave Pavillion, Suzhou.
