With the rising pollution of the city the pigeons started to become dirty with diseases and an end was put to this well known tradition. Radhuspladsen was at first built in the shape of a shell. the model was the big square in the Italian town of Sienna.

Radhuspladsen is at the center of Copenhagen. Here, in this place the guests can find the Town Hall, and the house of Politiken, where neon signs provide the passers by with news from all over the world.
