Cathedral, Loja
The Cathedral, situated in the central square region of the city of Lojo, serves as the home of the Virgin of Cisne for six months. The statue of Virgin of Cisne is carried in a procession from the beautiful town of Cisne, located 45 kilometers away from Loja, to the Cathedral. It stays there for 6 months and then after 6 months it is carried back to the town of Cisne. The procession takes place twice in a year. The Cathedral is one of the country's largest churches.
