The braces have been fixed on the towers which hold the flagstaffs in a concrete position. The towers of the temple also have rooms on which small windows have been constructed to allow sunlight to come in. There are also many inscriptions on the doorway of the temple which have been taken from the period of the Ethiopian King Shabaka.
