- Bir Umm Fawakhir, Marsa Alam – This Byzantine gold settlement was established between the 5th and 6th century and you can still see some of the ancient buildings.
- Temple of Seti I, Marsa Alam – This gorgeous rock cut temple was built by Set I (1305-1290 B.C) . The temple chambers feature sketches of Seti’s life.
