The toilets in the bures are used on a shared basis. Water is generally flushed in the toilets from the drum kept near it. For bathing purposes, waters are generally stored in the rainwater tanks.
The food available is generally fresh and includes fresh fish, pork, chicken, cassava, dalo, and rice. Vegetarian guests can also get vegetarian fare. On Sundays, special meals are arranged in the island.
