Lake Tagimaucia in Taveui is the most popular geographical landmark in the island of Taveuni in Fiji. The Lake Tagimaucia, Taveuni sits in a crater of an extinct volcano which soars to a height of 832 meters above sealevel. It is situated below the lovely Des Voeux Peak which stands at a height of 4040 feet from sea-level. The lake is covered with floating plants and flowers. Amidst the Lake Tagimaucia, Taveuni you will find the mesmerizing tangimaucia flower. The flower is said to produce red blooms. The centers of the flowers are white. The flower starts blooming from the end of September and continues till the end of December. You can reach the lake on foot but it is very tiring. It is best to drive to the lake in a 4 wheeler.

Lavena Coastal Walk in Taveuni is situated on the coastal boundary of the beautiful Bouma National Heritage Park.
