By Railways: If you wish to avail the railways then catch a train of the Hellenic Railways Organization, the Greek National Railway Company. By Roads: Tourists who wish to travel by roads need not worry as there are huge number of highways taking you to different parts of Greece. Avail the buses plying through Greek National Road 1 or Pathe Motorway as it is the oldest and the most important motorway connecting the important regions of Greece such as Pireas, Athens, Thessaloniki and Evzoni.

If you want to travel to northern Greece then avail the buses plying through Via Egnatia or "Egnatia Odos" in Greek. This is a new motorway and is known as the "horizontal road axis" of Greece. It is also the longest motorway till date as it has a west - east direction. This also has routes connecting to some parts of Europe.

By Air: Tourists wishing to travel by air will be glad to know that are airports in almost every province of Greece. Names of some of the major airports are Athens International Airport, Ellinikon International Airport, Chania International Airport, Alexandroupolis International Airport and Kos Island International Airport. Almost all major airlines operate flights to these airports in Greece.

By Ferries: Another means of transportation in Greece is ferries. Greece has a number of ports from where you can catch any ship to reach any part of Greece or to travel to neighboring countries. Names of some ports and harbor are Alexandroupoli, Kerkyra Chalkis, Patras, Piraeus, Thessaloniki, Volos, Rhodes and Mytilene.
