Bus services: Regular bus services are there in Santorini along different routes and the time table of the bus services change according to the seasons. The bus fares range from 0.95 euros to 1.5 euros depending on the route and the distance of the journey. Fira is the main bus depot which is located below the central square. During the peak season, an express bus runs from Perissa and Perivolos.
Ferry Routes:
- Every 50 to 60 minutes before the ship departure there is a service from Fira to the port and back.
- Fira to Oia: This service is for every 30 minutes during high season and 60 minutes otherwise
- For every 25 minutes in the high season and 60 minutes otherwise there are services from Fira to Karterados , Messaria, pygoros etc.

Taxi : The main taxi stand in Santorini is just below the Fira square, situated just next to the old bus depot which are now used for parking mopeds and bikes . The minimum fare starts at 2 euro. Share taxis are found in the city of Fira while the fare for each party is considered to be separate. An average fare to the port from Fira is about 10 euros while it is about 8 euros during day time.
It is however to be noted that buses stop plying during midnights every night of the week, hence visitors wanting to move out of the city during that time should plan accordingly. This is not practiced only in the busy summer months when buses ply even up to 3 am in the night. The travelers are thus advised to check the schedule before making any plan. In the middle of the high season, express bus services are available which travel to Perissa and Periviolos.
