Omonia Square, Athens is a must visit for you while you are on your Athens Tours. Over the last few years, it has acquired a more cosmopolitan nature and the best evidence of this are the few Indian, Pakistani and Chinese businesses and restaurants here. Among the eateries and restaurants clubbed here along the square, you will find the huge old cafeneon has been now turned into a Cafe-Neon. You can get just about anything here and you can sit here for hours watching the world pass by. Omonia Square, Athens was quite beautiful in its hey days and you can catch some glimpses of those good old glory days in old photographs if you go downstairs into the metro station.
