Dated from the first half of the sixth century BC., it was left incomplete due to a crevice in the material used for building the statue. However, the carving of this amazing statue is indicative of the magnificent Greek art and sculpture.
The land where this statue is located belongs to the Kondili-family. A visit to the site of this statue will also lead the tourists to tour the gardens of this family. This garden is well-kept and offers a sitting area featuring a stone table under an olive tree. It is here where tourists can rest a while with a glass of Naxos wine.
