Most of the beaches of Hong Kong are snuggled in the sedate and protected waters of these islands. Thus, a few of these can also be quite isolated, far off from the main cities. Still almost all beaches in Hong Kong are easily accessible to visitors.
Located on Lamma Island the Lo So Shing Beach is a grade one beach. Originally during the Tang dynasty the this Hong Kong beach was centre of a local lime industry ,but now it is the perfect swimming site a lifeguard service is available round the clock just incase you venture out too far in the sea.
Cleanliness, tranquility and peace are the other names for Silvermine Beach, Hong Kong. This Hong Kong beach provides all modern facilities like refreshment kiosks, restaurants, changing rooms, rafts and showers. At the beach you will also see a sandbar area where children can play without space constraints.
The Cheung Sha Beach is divided into two sections namely the Upper Cheung Sha Beach and Lower Cheung Sha Beach. This Hong Kong beach is approximately three kilometers long and the beach boasts to be the longest beach of Hong Kong.
