Sepinggan International Airport:

Sepinggan International Airport is one of the main airports of Kalimantan. The airport is located about 4.5 km east of Balikpapan in Kalimantan. The airport first began its operations in the year 1997 with a new building and runway structure, thus replacing the old structure on the same site. The length of the airport is about 81815 ft having an elevation of about 12 ft. The surface of the airport is made of asphalt.
