The Vakil Baazar in Kerman in Iran houses many ancient buildings made of brick like the Ganj Ali Khan Bath and Ethnological Museum, Ebrahim Khan Madraseh and Bathhouse and the Vakil Caravansary. The greatest attraction of the Vakil Bazaar, Kerman is the Ebrahim Khan Madraseh and Bathhouse. These 2 buildings were constructed during 1816-1817 by Ebrahim Khan, the son-in-law of the governor of Kerman(1802-1824), Fath Ali Shah. The entrance of this bathhouse as well as the madraseh houses exquisite portals exhibiting fine works with tiles and immaculate designs of peacocks, flowers and watefowls. The calligraphic inscriptions are hard to overlook. The Madraseh is a single-storeyed building which is surrounded by a courtyard dotted with cypress trees. The walls of the Ebrahim Khan hammam have beautiful decorations and paintings that are as old as 18th century. It used to serve as the bathhouse for males only during that time.
The Vakil Caravansary was built by Mohammad Ismail Khan who was the governor of Kerman during 1859-1866. It offers accommodation to the merchants of the bazaar. It houses two chimneys or wind towers.The Vakil Bazaar, Kerman also houses a teahouse called the Ghahveh Khaneh Sonnati.
