The Crusader Castle was built in 1738 by Daher el- Amr. It is situated towards the northern part of old Tiberias. Presently, the tourists can view only the remains of the castle. A restaurant and an art center have been built in this site housing the remains of the castle.
Bet Yerah, Tiberias
It is an archaeological site situated 10 kilometers away from Hammat, towards the south. It stands on the lakeside road. Here you will get to see the remains of baths that date back 4th century or 5 th century AD. On the basis of the construction of the baths the archaeologists are of the belief that there used to be a pool in the middle of the cold bath which was adorned with a dome shaped roof. The archaeologists also found the remains of a Byzantine church built in the 5th century and a Roman fort built in the 3 rd century.
