The Garden Tomb, Jerusalem is believed by many to be the garden and burial ground of Joseph of Arimathea. Historians believe it to be a possible site of the resurrection of Jesus. The Garden Tomb ( Jerusalem) Association owns and takes care of the garden and the Garden Tomb, Jerusalem. Garden Tomb Association is a charitable trust based in the United Kingdom. Presently the Garden Tomb is a tranquil place which is preserved for worship.

To reach Garden Tomb from the Damascus Gate of Old City cross the road and walk down to Nablus road . There is a narrow lane called Conrad Schick Street at about 400 meters from Nablus Road. The Garden Tomb, Jerusalem is situated on Conrad Schick Street on the right hand side.

The garden is one of the most popular sites for Sightseeing in Jerusalem. The Garden houses several places to sit. There are drinking water and toilet facilities inside the garden. Special facilities for the physically challenged persons are also provided by the garden authorities., including provision for the disabled. There is a gift store at Garden Tomb, Jerusalem from where visitors can buy some souvenirs.

The garden is open to the public and entry is free. Visitors can join guided tours of the garden. There are expert English speaking Guides who will take to a tour of Garden Tomb, Jerusalem. If you do not want to join any guided tour then you can collect a leaflet from the garden's gate. These leaflets are available in several languages including English. As the garden is a holy place dedicated for worship smoking, eating and use of mobile phones inside the garden are strictly prohibited. The visitors can offer voluntary gifts to the garden authority.

For worship and tour , the Garden Tomb, Jerusalem, opens every Monday to Saturday from 9 am to noon and 1then from 4 pm to 5:30 in the afternoon. As the garden is visited by hundreds of pilgrims every day visitors need to book for their trips in advance.

Inside the garden there are several sections. First you will see the The Hill of the Skull. It is a rocky escarpment the shape of which resembles to the shape of human skull. Then the guided tour of garden takes you to the Garden Tomb, Jerusalem. It is believed to be the burial place of Jesus Christ. Then there is The Resting Place, which is also believed by many as the place where Jesus rested. The holy Garden Tomb, Jerusalem is one of the major religious Jerusalem Tourist Attractions.
