The Rosh Pinna, Safed is a small town situated in the Northern district of Israel. The Rosh Pinna, Safed was founded by thirty immigrant families from Romania in the year 1882. It is one of the oldest Zionist settlements in Israel. The nearest airport is Ben Ya'akov Airport at a distance of 2.1 km from Rosh Pinna, Safed. The town has a population of about 2,400, mostly of Jewish population.

Rosh Pinna, Safed had been among the first modern Jewish agricultural settlements in Palestine. In 1882 a group of Jews from Romania built a settlement, and called it Rosh Pinna, which means cornerstone after Psalm 118.22. In 1884, Baron Edmond de Rothschild made it the administrative center for his own holdings.

The town is the place where the Kabbalah, which is the ancient Jewish tradition says is the Messiah appears at the end of this world. This is the reason for Madonna to buy a home here.

The Rosh Pinna in Safed has a world-class Spa, called Mitzpe Hayamin, and is situated in Rosh Pinna. There are many health as well as health and cosmetic treatments. An art gallery exists where tourists can see art works, and there are other art work shops. An organic garden also exists. In1882, The House of Dignitaries was built and is the center of administration and finance of the whole of Rosh Pinna, Safed.

Other attractions that can be seen here include a garden of plants and flowers which were imported from France in 1886. There is an ancient synagogue to be seen here. It is also home of Prof Gideon Mer, who was an expert on malaria as well as epidemiologist and one can see a room dedicated to his works.
