The Atomic Bomb Dome is the only building that survived the atomic explosion of 6th August in 1945. The nuclear bomb had exploded just 100 meters away from this dome but this building survived this impact and now has been preserved the way it was after the explosion.

The Fudoin Temple in Hiroshima is a good example of the Muromachi architecture. It has a royal shrine and a beautiful garden. This temple is very peaceful and calm.
