There is a huge hexagonal reservoir that is made of basalt stones. It was strengthened at intervals by many triangular and rounded buttresses. These are positioned against the inner and outer sides of the walls. These features are similar to the structures at Qasr Al-Hir West and Qasr Al-Hir East which are located in Syria. A few kilometers away from the fort lies the Umayyad farm house. There are oil presses in the structure. The bath comprises three rooms which are hot, warm and cold rooms.
