  • Salama- Fine/ Peaceful

  • Habari za nyumbani?- What is the news at home? or How is home?

  • Habari za shule?- How is school?

  • Asante - Thank you

  • Kwaheri- goodbye

  • Hodi!- May I come in?

  • Nina swali- I have a question

  • Tafadhali- Please

  • Ndiyo- yes

  • Hapana- no

  • Samahani- pardon me/ excuse me
