During the winters, due to the depressions forming on the Mediterranean, weather might be affected to great extents. Although it might take days to overcome that period of depression, there are also successions of sunny and clear weather conditions.
A hot and dry wind named ‘khamsin’ blows over Lebanon in early or late summer. This wind is responsible for increasing the temperature leading to unpleasant weather conditions.
