The Music of Liberia comprises several important genres of pop that were influenced from neighboring countries like Ghana and Nigeria. Born in Liberia, She grew in to a great musician of the country. Another talented musician is Molly Dorley, whose music reflects the clash between western influence and local musician. the music of Dorley gave the much needed impetus to first recorded music of the Culture of Liberia that was not allowed to blossom by the ruling political class. Music like "Who are you baby, oh!" and "Grand Gedeh County Oh! Oh!" marked the start of the appreciation of Liberian music.
Dorley along with Anthony "Experience" Nagbe of the "Tejajlu" musical group are among the pioneers who elevated their native music through rhythmic music to the international level.
