It is absolutely safe to move around in Luxembourg at night. The city has many atmospheric old cafe, where the guests can join the locals in a sing-song. There are two lively, youthful, interesting pubs in the old city. They are Um Piquet, rue de la Poste 30 and Club 5, 5 rue Chimay. This is a stylish bar with a good upstairs eating place. Down in the valley, Grund is full of many good pubs. There is Scott's which serves the guests and the visitors with Guinness and English Ale to a largely crowd. There is also the Trader's Café. It is a famous watering hole across the street from Scott's, in an ancient old building
There is also a fashionable disco that is famous popular among the students is Melusina which interchanges between rock and jazz groups. It is open on Friday and Saturday from 11pm to 3am. It is open on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 11pm to 3am for the techno and house.
