Geography of Monaco is intermingled with the weather and climatic conditions of the region. The population of Principality consists of approximately 32,020 inhabitants, 8,000 of whom are Monegasques, 8, 91 French and 5,454 Italian. The surface area of Monaco is 494 acres, of which nearly 100 were recovered from the sea during the course of the last 20 years or so.
