Children cheering carpet: A carpet dance equipped with pressure sensors that interacts with the young audience.
Annaphoriques: This is like a daydream choreography and video around the interpretation of the famous Mort du Cygne by the romantic Russian dancer Anna Pavlova.
Only with wolf: This is an interactive 3D navigation choreography and here you will find Interface seductress, the figure of Ulys, an enigmatic landscape, disproportionate and exaggerated color, which creates a very sensational appeal.
Umbrellas: This new facility transports us to a hallucinatory choreographic universe that continually transforms our bodies and our colorful shadows.
Location and Schedule
The Monaco Dance Forum is celebrated in Grimaldi Forum in Monaco between 10th to 16th December. This event is held every two years. The last Monaco dance Forum was held in 2006.
In 2006 tourists had the chance to view an original adaptation of Gluck’s Opera and repertoires from France’s Vagabond Crew.
They had also seen the performances of the Australian Dance Theatre, Israeli Choreographers Emanuel Gat and Sahar Azimi, the Henry Oguike Dance Company, Spain’s Compania Maria Pages, Jyrki Karttunen & Co of Finland, USA’s Ronald K Brown Evidence and Do Theatre of Russia.
Besides these there was also an exhibition of the New National Museum of Monaco and exclusive photos by Karl Lagerfeld presenting artists from the dance world.
