Tourists coming here can see some magnificent flowerbeds and carefully tended lawns interspersed with ponds in which reeds and water lilies grow. As you stand on the sunny Terraces you can have a wonderful view of the city of Monte Carlo on the left and can also view a major portion of the Opera House. There are also many kinds of flowers, some rare plants and a few benches on the terrace.

Exotic Garden & Observatory Caves: The Exotic Garden is a major sightseeing spot in Monaco. In this garden you can see a large number of rare “succulent” plants and beautiful flowers. Tourists can also enjoy magnificent views of the surrounding by taking a stroll along the foot-bridges high above the cliff. The Observatory Caves are located 200 feet below the exotic gardens. Tourists entering the caves will be charmed to see several varieties of stones such as stalagmites, stalactites and limestone.

Fontvieille Park: This is a magnificent park and covers an area of nearly 4 hectares. If you want to see nature at its best a visit to this park is a must. The park features a multitude of green plants and shrubs, a charming little fresh-water pond and some ducks and swans in the pond.

Japanese Garden: This is a fabulous garden that is situated right next to the Mediterranean Sea and covers an area of 23,000 square feet. The garden is designed by the landscape-architect Yasuo Beppu. Here tourists can have a glimpse of pine trees, olive trees, waterfalls and other vegetation. These plants are brought from Japan and are nurtured in the same way as is done in the land of the Rising Sun.
