Nieuwe Kirk, Delft is one of the religious monuments which is frequented by tourists from across the world. The most attractive aspect of the landmark church is the main tower which is 108.75 meters tall making the Nieuwe Kirk, Delft the second highest church tower in the country.

Tourists come to the Nieuwe Kirk in Delft to view the tombs which are an integral part of the church. A large section of the royal family are entombed at the Nieuwe Kirk, the first being William the Silent who was entombed in 1584. Since then a large number of royal family members have been buried at the church including Queen Juliana, the Queen of the Netherlands from 1945-1980 and her husband Prince Bernhand in 2004. These royal crypts are open for public viewing during the weekdays.

Apart from the crypts, the tourists can also view the brilliant architecture which reflects on to the Protestant Reformation in Delft when the Catholic altars and kerkbanken were completely destroyed. Most of the architecture was restored and can be viewed by the tourists coming to the brilliant architectural destination which is regarded as one of the most popular tourist attractions in Delft.

One must remember that the tower of the Church is open for the tourists on all days except on Sundays when the masses are held. The Sunday service is held twice on Sundays and one can also participate in the mass held at Nieuwe Kirk, Delft.
