Maastricht is a place which is situated in the southernmost part of Netherlands in Limburg province and is close to Germany and Belgium. Bonnefanten museum: This is regarded as one of the most important tourist attractions in Maastricht which contains works of Art from ancient and modern times. The museum is located in the province of Limburg. Besides paintings, the museum also contains giant projections and installations.

Derlon Museum Cellar: The museum has a free entry and is usually open on all working days. The museum contains art works, some of which date back to the 2nd century AD. It also contains sections of walls from ancient times and ancient roads made of Roman cobblestones.

Natuurhistorisch Museum: This repository is one of the well-known tourist attractions in Maastricht and is famous for portraying the culture and tradition of the southern part of Limburg .Among the main highlights of the museum are remains of enormous Mosasauriers and Giant Turtles found in marlstone at the St Pietersberg caverns. Many fossils which are found show the changes that Limburg has undergone for the past 300 million years.

Spaans Government museum: The museum contains paintings from the 17th and 18th centuries as well as furniture, silver, porcelain and pottery from that period. The museum has free entry for people of all ages and is usually open on all weekdays.
