Abalak is a remote town located in the midst of the Tahoua department of Niger. The Blue People are famous for coloring their faces and are famed reapers of the blue indigo dye. These Blue people have for centuries harvested and dyed their fabrics in the Blue color. They also paint their faces in Blue.
The Tuaregs also are brave warriors who are hardiest hunters and horse riders in the desert.
Abalak is a city full of surprises. It is one which is known for all its desertscapes and the intrepid traveler can also feast in the hiking ,adventure travelling activities and trekking for its visitors.
