The Lagos markets are colorful, busy and remains invariably crowded all the time. Strolling through the Lekki Market, about 9 kilometers from the Victoria Island, in the city on afternoons and weekends can be an exciting affair. One will come across a variety of interesting items once you are here. The assorted items include beads, masks, small paintings and various items made of wood as well as fruit, vegetables and fresh fish at Ilasan Market or Ola Fegushi.

At the entrance of Eko Hotel one can come across a souvenir shop. It is arguably a one-stop shop for travelers. Ranging from wood carving to oil painting and from ivory bangles to bronze sculptures you can get almost all local souvenirs at this place. One has to negotiate real hard.
