County Museum, Bodo is situated to the south of the Bodo Cathedral and is the Nordland County Museum of Bodo. The County Museum, Bodo has different sections which are devoted to agriculture and local crafts, though fish and fish gear are the main theme. There is also a good collection of prehistoric and medieval materials for public viewing.
The County Museum, Bodo is present in one of the oldest buildings in the whole of Bodo city. The exhibits are on recent cultural history of the area. The museum has an exhibition which showcases the Sami settlement in the area and also exhibitions of silver treasures from the Iron Age treasure that were found in North Norway.

June till August: Monday through Friday (9am - 3pm) and Sundays (12pm - 3pm).
