Bodo in Norway is one of the popular tourist destinations of the world as this is an ideal location to view the midnight sun. Midnight Sun is the major Bodo Tourist Attractions. The second largest town in Northern Norway, Bodo is encircled by the spectacular mountains of Børvasstindene to the south and Landegode island and the Lofoten Islands to the north. At the museum you will see displays on the history of the aircraft manufacturing in the country and different models of aircrafts used in different periods if history.

The tourists visiting Bodo will also enjoy trips to the island of Kjerringøy which lies 40 km north of the Bodo and surround a peninsula which is primarily mountainous. Other Bodo Tourist Attractions include places like Saltstraumen where after every 6 hours of interval, 400 mill cubic meter of water at the speed of 20 knots flows through 150 m wide and 3 km long way, which connects the Saltenfjord and the Skjerstadfjord.

Pay a visit to the Bodin Church which is a marvelous specimen of Baroque architecture. The architectural style of the Bodo Cathedral will simply enthrall you. To the south of the Bodo Cathedral, lies the Bodo Museum with a rich collection of art and artifacts of history, local crafts, agriculture and fishery.

Visit Kjerringøy, the old trading town and is the home to 15 ancient buildings which will render a picture of the life and settlement of the people of the coastal area. At Rønvikfjell, you will experience a breathtaking panoramic view of the city. The place is also well known for hiking opportunities.
